izuku is very touch-starved.

like this kid has almost never touched anyone but his mom and maybe his dad??? but yeah the only other people he’s been touched by were his bullies and they beat him up.

so when literally anyone touches him affectionately, like The Hug On The Beach™ or if someone ruffles his hair he melts into their touch bc it feels so good???

and later when the whole class gets to know each other well they become the Ultimate Friends and a lot of hugs are given and izuku loves it???? so much??????

like shouji gives the best hugs, ojiro’s wraps his tail around izuku, dark shadow rubs his leg like a cat and even aizawa ruffles his hair at one point?????? izuku m e l t s

after a while when he knows it’s okay to, he starts just falling asleep on people. iida, uraraka and todoroki are his preferred beds. iida cause he’s buff as hell but a soft boi, uraraka cause she’s soft as hell but also she plays with izuku’s hair, and todoroki cause he’s warm and cold at the same time. with todo these boys are both tired as hell all the time so they end up asleep on each other almost always.

izuku learns, after a certain incident, that he loves being hugged so much, this boy will melt in your arms. he’s like that one tiger meme, you know which one i’m talking about.

tldr: this boy needs hugs and physical affection from someone that isn’t his mom
