In this little inbetween episode we introduce you to a guest character, who belongs to @cooking-up-arts, one of the lovely people who support us with 5$ per month on Patreon!
If you pledge 5$/month you can submit your OC to us and theyâll have occasional guest appearances in the comic! We plan to use them as background characters but there will also be a few more of these special short inbetween eps where we can let your characters interact and talk about whatâs happening to the main cast of âFriend Todorokiâ! Â
The character spots are limited so if you want to grab a spot for your character make sure to get one before theyâre gone!
Jim belongs to @cooking-up-arts, Vivian (the sidecut girl on the last panel) belongs to @pandasama-art and Linelle (the ponytail girl last panel) belongs to @intentionalgrump. Hope you like it!
I was curious what this could be referencing, so me and @queenofliz4rdsâ did some googling, and we found out that this is referencing a musician called Eikichi Yazawa.Â
This is what his official page looks like :Â Â
Itâs more hideous in person, check it out here. it moves and shit.
and THIS is what his music sounds like. (That is: This is the stuff our Disaster Child likes to listen to.)Â

We figured out Kirishimaâs taste in music and I CANâT HANDLE IT I love him so much!?!?!
Rewatched âSprit: Stallion of the Cimarronâ for the hundredth time and, like, why donât people talk about this movie more??? Like it came out only a year after Shrek and that movie has a shit ton of sequels and yet no one ever talks about Spirit??? Like,Â
(1) It doesnât glorify or romanticize colonialism. It is some real-ass shit.
(2) It has amazing art.
(3) The main human character is Native American.
(4) It doesnât stereotype or generalize or dehumanize Native Americans.
(5) Itâs about horses!!!!
If you havenât seen or even heard of this movie, drop everything right the fuck now and go watch. NOW. GO. GO. GO. Itâs just an all-around good movie that will give you so many feels.Â
Not forgetting the top amazing songs all brought to live by the amaing BRYAN ADAMS. The OSTs are gorgeous. And the end of the story always get me teary.
Some AMAZING animation by James Baxter in this movie. Seriously he is THE MAN
Today I watched my coworker greet the same child I had previously addressed with âhello, sir, howâre you?â by saying âhiya there, arenât you a little cutie pie?â and I think if we fused we would create a normal, competent person.
