I was thinking that they’d kinda wanna mix both traditions, human and mer. So Prom gets the ring, Noct the necklace. Even though Noct does have to spend some time thinking about what kinda ring he could give Prom lmao Because first of all it has to work with his webbed fingers and second of all it can’t just slide off when he’s in the water. He got real fancy in the end
